Uttara University (UU), through its Office of External Affairs (OEA), has signed two separate agreements with Labaid Cancer Hospital and Labaid Hospital, both members of the Labaid Group, to provide special healthcare benefits to the University community.

Under the agreements, faculty members, administrative officers and staff of Uttara University, along with alumni and their dependents, will be eligible for special discounts on selected healthcare services at the respective Labaid facilities, subject to the terms and conditions of the agreements.

The agreements were signed in the presence of representatives from both organizations. Professor Haspia Bashirullah, Treasurer, Uttara University, and Mohammad Ali, Controller of Examinations and In-Charge, Office of External Affairs, represented Uttara University at the signing ceremony.

Representing the Labaid Group were Dr. Sharif Kamrul Md. Tanvieer, Senior Manager, Customer Outreach, and Assrafuzzaman Khan, Assistant Manager, Corporate Services Department, Labaid Gulshan, along with other members of their team.

The agreements mark another step in Uttara University’s efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships with leading healthcare organizations and expand welfare benefits for its faculty members, officers, staff, alumni, and their dependents.
