Uttara University successfully hosted UU INNOVATEX 2026, organized by the Department of CSE, Uttara University and presented by HOQUE Study Abroad CONSULTANCY, bringing together innovation, research, artificial intelligence, industry engagement, and student creativity.

The event featured a Poster Presentation, where students showcased innovative projects and research, along with an insightful AI workshop titled “How AI Is Reshaping the Software Industry.” The session was conducted by Astha IT professionals Mr. Khandakar Mehedi Hasan, Senior Manager – HR; Mr. Md. Minhazul Abedin, Software Engineer II; and Mr. Md. Anayeat Rabbi Khan, Software Engineer III.

The programme also featured an MoU signing between Uttara University and Astha.IT, strengthening collaboration between academia and industry, followed by a vibrant cultural programme celebrating student talent and creativity.

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), UU INNOVATEX 2026 contributed particularly to:

• SDG 4: Quality Education – Promoting experiential learning, research, AI education, and knowledge sharing
• SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy – Encouraging innovation and technological thinking that can contribute to sustainable and energy-efficient solutions.
• SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth – Connecting students with industry professionals and highlighting future career opportunities in the technology sector.

The event was supported by the UUCSE Cultural Club, UU Machine Learning Club, UU Computer Programming Club, and the Office of External Affairs (OEA), Uttara University, with EventVerse as the Event Partner.
