On 22 July 2025, Uttara University (UU), Bangladesh, and INTI International University, Malaysia, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the UU Conference Room, marking a significant step toward enhancing international academic collaboration and expanding global opportunities for students and faculty members.
INTI International University, ranked 170th in the QS Asia University Rankings, brings a wealth of global academic expertise and innovation to this strategic partnership. The agreement aims to foster academic excellence through initiatives that include student mobility and visiting scholar programs, joint academic ventures, collaborative research and publications, exchange of academic resources, the establishment of an International Centre, and the organization of seminars, trainings, and conferences.
The MoU was signed by Professor Dr. Gour Gobinda Goswami, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Uttara University, and Dr. Khan Sarfaraz Ali, representing the Faculty of Business & Communications at INTI International University.


The signing ceremony was attended by notable figures from Uttara University, including Dr. Ishrat Hossain, Dean of the School of Business; directors of the BBA and MBA programs; senior faculty members; and top university officials such as Kazi Mahiuddin, Registrar; Mohammad Ali, Controller of Examinations; and Md. Arif Imam, Director of Accounts and Finance.
“This partnership reflects our shared vision for global engagement and our commitment to preparing students for success in an interconnected world,” said Professor Dr. Gour Gobinda Goswami. “We look forward to meaningful collaborations that enhance academic standards and foster international growth.”
This MoU is part of Uttara University’s ongoing efforts to globalize its academic offerings and create a dynamic, cross-cultural educational environment that benefits students, faculty, and the broader academic community.
