Prioritizing the safety and well-being of its students, faculty, and administrative staff, Uttara University successfully organized a comprehensive Safety-Oriented Driver Training Program on June 25, 2026. Initiated by the university’s Office of Transport, the specialized training session brought together approximately 80 participants, including university drivers, bus helpers, and key transport personnel, all aimed at upgrading the institution’s transit safety standards.

The technical session was conducted by Engineer Mohammad Nayeb Ali, Manager (Technical) of the Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) Operations. Utilizing his extensive expertise, Engineer Ali delivered practical and highly insightful training covering defensive driving practices, vehicle maintenance and safety, professional behavior with students, and crucial awareness regarding drug abuse prevention. The session underscored the essential principles required to maintain a disciplined and responsible university transportation service.

The event was attended by esteemed university Chairmen, Directors, and senior officials, reflecting the central management’s strong commitment to fostering a secure, student-friendly environment. Through proactive initiatives like this, Uttara University continues to strengthen its core culture of safety, operational professionalism, and service excellence across all facets of its campus operations.
