On October 8, 2025, Uttara University successfully organized a comprehensive Fire Safety Training Program for its faculty members, officers, and staff as part of its ongoing commitment to ensuring a safe, secure, and well-prepared campus environment.
The training session was conducted by Mr M. A. Rashid Tipu, CFPS, an internationally recognised Fire Safety Expert and former Fire Safety Engineer at Accord. With years of professional experience in fire safety management, Mr Tipu provided participants with valuable insights on fire prevention, emergency response, and risk mitigation strategies. His interactive session included practical demonstrations and real-life examples, equipping attendees with the knowledge and confidence to handle emergency situations effectively.

This initiative underscores Uttara University’s proactive approach to health and safety management within its campus community. By fostering awareness and preparedness, the university aims to build a culture of safety and responsibility among all members of its institution.
Uttara University plans to continue organising such training and awareness programs to strengthen its safety infrastructure and uphold international standards in workplace safety and emergency response.
