Uttara University expressed its deepest sorrow over the tragic plane crash involving Milestone School and College by organizing a special prayer gathering on 24 July 2025 at its main auditorium. The program was dedicated to praying for the eternal peace of the departed souls and the quick recovery of those who were injured in this heartbreaking incident.

The solemn event was attended by Professor Dr. Eaysmin Ara Lekha, Honorable Vice Chancellor of Uttara University, and Professor Dr. Gour Gobinda Goswami, Pro Vice Chancellor, along with Senior Professors, faculty members, administrative officials, staff, and a large number of students. Together, they offered heartfelt prayers and extended their deepest condolences to the grieving families.

In her address, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Eaysmin Ara Lekha expressed profound grief and stated, “This tragic incident has shaken all of us. As an educational institution, we stand in solidarity with Milestone School and College during this time of immense loss. Our prayers and thoughts are with the families who have suffered this tragedy.”

Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Gour Gobinda Goswami also shared his condolences and emphasized the importance of collective prayers and unity in overcoming such national tragedies.
