20 July 2026: The Office of External Affairs (OEA), Uttara University, in collaboration with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), successfully organized an industrial visit to Evergreen Technology Co. Limited as part of the university’s ongoing commitment to strengthening industry–academia collaboration.
The Uttara University delegation was led by Professor Dr. Md. Shakowat Zaman Sarker, Professor and Chairman, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE). Other members of the delegation included Professor Dr. Md. Taslim Reza, Md. Delwar Hossen, Associate Professor and Coordinator, Sheikh Farhana Binte Ahmed, Assistant Professor, and Ali Ahmed Ave, Senior Lecturer and Coordinator. The visit was coordinated by the Office of External Affairs under the overall supervision of Mr. Anichur Rahman, Deputy Director.
The primary objective of the visit was to foster stronger collaboration between academia and industry by exploring opportunities for joint research, innovation, knowledge exchange, industrial training, internships, and graduate employment. Such initiatives reflect Uttara University’s commitment to equipping students with industry-relevant knowledge and practical experience.
The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Md. Mujibur Rahman, Managing Director of Evergreen Technology Co. Limited. During the meeting, he highlighted the importance of bridging the gap between academic learning and industrial practice, emphasizing that hands-on experience is essential for developing competent and industry-ready graduates.



As part of the visit, the delegation toured the company’s manufacturing facilities, where faculty members gained firsthand insights into modern production systems, technological applications, quality assurance practices, and industrial operations. The factory tour provided valuable exposure to real-world engineering processes and demonstrated the significance of integrating academic knowledge with practical applications.
To express gratitude for the warm hospitality and continued support, the Uttara University delegation presented a token of appreciation to Mr. Md. Mujibur Rahman in recognition of his inspiring leadership and valuable contribution to strengthening university–industry collaboration.
The meeting concluded with productive discussions on future collaborative initiatives. Both parties agreed in principle to facilitate regular monthly industrial visits for Uttara University students, creating greater opportunities for experiential learning, professional development, and stronger engagement with industry.
