Uttara University has added another remarkable achievement to its growing list of national successes as Team Palm Cooler from the Department of Textile Engineering emerged as Champion in the “300 Seconds Innovation: Poster Presentation” competition under the Textile & Sustainability category at the 1st BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) National Apparel Festival 2026 (BNAF 2026).

The championship-winning team consisted of Aminul Islam Rohan, Farhan Nafeez and Hurey Jannat, whose innovative project impressed the judges with its originality, practicality, and potential impact on the country’s textile and apparel sector.
