In a decisive step toward enhancing its international academic footprint, Uttara University is proud to announce that on May 11, 2026, it formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hubei University, China. This strategic alliance aims to foster a culture of global academic excellence, innovation, and cross-border research collaboration between the two prestigious institutions.
The ceremony, held today, was distinguished by the presence of Professor Dr. Eaysmin Ara Lekha, the honorable Vice Chancellor of Uttara University. Joining her were key academic leaders, including Ishrat Hossain, Dean of the School of Business, Dr. Md. Tareque Aziz, Chairman of the Department of Physics, and Sheikh Yasha Shan, Director of the Institutional Ranking Cell. Their participation highlights the university’s unified commitment to elevating its educational standards and global institutional standing.
The newly established agreement outlines a comprehensive framework for cooperation, specifically focusing on the exchange of students, scholars, and administrators to promote a diverse learning environment.
