The Office of External Affairs at Uttara University, in collaboration with Bdjobs.com Ltd., organized a career-focused seminar titled “UU–Journey to Career” on 15 July 2025 at the university’s Multipurpose Hall. The event aimed to equip outgoing students with essential skills for the professional world and drew participation from over 150 final-year students across various departments.

The seminar featured insightful sessions from industry professionals. Mohammad Ali (Firoze), Assistant General Manager (AGM), Program & Activations at Bdjobs.com, delivered an engaging presentation on interview strategies, offering practical tips to enhance students’ confidence and performance during job interviews.

Following this, Md. Abu Hasan Tutul, Manager at Bdjobs.com, conducted an interactive session on CV writing techniques. He provided a live demonstration on how to upload a CV to the Bdjobs portal, highlighting ways to increase visibility to potential employers.

The event was graced by Mohammad Ali, Controller of Examinations and In-Charge of the Office of External Affairs, Uttara University. In his closing remarks, he emphasized the importance of strategic career planning, adaptability, and lifelong learning in today’s evolving job market. He concluded the session with a heartfelt vote of thanks to the speakers and participants.
