The Office of External Affairs (OEA), in collaboration with the Office of Brand & Communication, successfully organized the Smart CV Writing Workshop & Best CV Award Competition 2026 at Uttara University, bringing together aspiring students and industry experts to strengthen career readiness and employability skills.

The workshop featured expert sessions conducted by the atB Jobs team on developing recruiter-focused, ATS-friendly CVs, along with practical guidance on professional communication and networking. Participants gained valuable insights into preparing impactful CVs that align with current recruitment standards and industry expectations.

The event was graced by Dr. Soeb Md. Shoayeb Noman, Associate Professor, Department of Business Administration and Director, BBA Program, who inspired students to prepare themselves for the evolving job market through continuous skill development and professionalism. He also presented crests to the resource persons in recognition of their valuable contributions.

Designed as an interactive learning experience, the workshop encouraged active participation through discussions, practical feedback, and engaging question-and-answer sessions. Students received personalized career guidance from industry professionals, enabling them to better understand employer expectations and enhance their career preparation.

Following the workshop, CV experts from atB Jobs evaluated participants’ submissions based on several professional criteria, including ATS compatibility, CV structure and layout, readability, relevant skills and experience, job-specific keywords, grammar and spelling accuracy, and overall presentation. The top three participants were recognized for submitting the most outstanding CVs.

The prize money was presented by Anichur Rahman, Deputy Director, Office of External Affairs; Md. Mizan Ibn Yousuf, Head of HR, atB Jobs; and Md. Mahady, Head of Marketing & CV Expert, atB Jobs. Ms. Rifa Tamanna, Executive, atB Jobs, also conducted a session on effective communication and professional networking, highlighting the importance of personal branding in today’s competitive job market.
