The Office of External Affairs and the School of Business, Uttara University, jointly organized a seminar titled “Growth Horizon of Bangladesh: Revealing the Impact of Non-Performing Loans, Remittances Inflow, International Education, and Institutional Quality” on 17 September 2025 at the university conference hall.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Mamta B. Chowdhury, Faculty at the School of Business, Western Sydney University, Australia. In her speech, Dr. Chowdhury provided critical insights into Bangladesh’s current economic realities and emphasized the importance of students, faculty, and institutions in driving sustainable national development.



The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Ishrat Hossain, Dean of the School of Business, who highlighted the significance of academic dialogue in shaping future economic policies. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Anichur Rahman, Deputy Director, Office of External Affairs, expressing gratitude to the distinguished speaker, faculty, and students for their active participation.
