The Office of External Affairs, in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics, organized a seminar titled “AI and Future Job Opportunities” on 01 December 2025 at the Seminar Hall of Uttara University. Ms. Sarah Kaiser, Regional Manager (Asia), University of Brighton, UK, attended the event as the keynote speaker.


In her address, Ms. Kaiser provided an insightful overview of postgraduate study opportunities in the UK, covering essential topics such as the admission process, available scholarships, internship pathways, and job prospects. She also discussed the key skills required for admission into Master’s programs at UK universities and highlighted the academic strengths of the University of Brighton.

Prof. Dr. Shahansha Khan, Chairman of the Department of Mathematics, graced the event as the Chief Guest. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of international student mobility and encouraged students to equip themselves with advanced skills in artificial intelligence and machine learning to remain competitive in the global landscape. He also extended his appreciation to Ms. Kaiser for her informative presentation.
