Uttara University believes learning does not end with a degree. This Policy makes the University’s lifelong learning activities open to everyone and removes barriers to taking part. It supports SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
It covers activities for people not enrolled in a degree programme: public seminars, lectures and workshops, short and vocational training, library resources for the public, and outreach in schools and communities.
These activities are open to everyone, regardless of ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, nationality or immigration status (within what the law allows).
Anyone needing an adjustment, or who feels treated unfairly, can contact directoradmission@uttata.ac.bd and will not be penalised for doing so. The Office of External Affairs applies this Policy and reports yearly to the Vice-Chancellor, who approves it. It is published on the website and reviewed at least every three years.
