This is for information of all concerned that the University Authority has decided to establish a new office titled “Office of the International Affairs” at Uttara University with effect from 27 October 2025.
The following faculty members have been entrusted with the responsibilities against their names:
1) Dr Md Tareque Aziz, Associate Professor and Chairman, Department of Physics, UU – Director, Office of International Affairs.
2) Dr Md Faruk Hossain, Assistant Professor, Department of Law, UU – Deputy Director, Office of International Affairs.
The Office of International Affairs will be responsible for:
1) International Collaboration and Partnerships;
2) Foreign student attraction and student exchange;
3) Faculty and Staff Mobility;
4) Promotion of Internationalization;
5) Visa and Immigration Support;
6) International Communication and Representation;
7) Other related responsibilities.
All concerned are requested to extend their cooperation to the newly appointed Director and Deputy Director of the new office for the smooth execution of its functions.
