Md. Nazmul Houda was born in 21st November, 1976 at the Tarail Upazila under the district of Kishorgonj, Bangladesh. His father is Late Aljaj Md. Abdul Quddus Akhand and mother Mrs Rabeya Khatun. He achieved his B.A (Hon’s), M.A. and M. Phil. Degree from University of Chittagong and PhD from University of Dhaka. He also achieved a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM), Dhaka. He is currently working as a Professor in Uttara University, Bangladesh. He was former an assistant Professor & an associate Professor in City University. He was also lecturer in History, Kalir Bazar College, Faridgonj, Chandpur, Bangladesh. Besides, he is associated with different organizations relating to social works. He has published two books and also published numerous articles in academic referred journals. His research interests include History, Good Governance and Foreign Policy.
