Md. Turab Hossain is currently serving as a Section Officer (ARR) in the Office of the Registrar at Uttara University, where he oversees academic affairs, student records, enrollment services, and institutional compliance. He holds a Postgraduate Degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). His academic journey includes a research-based thesis on low-cost embedded fire detection systems and an international internship under the AI3 & SOI Asia Human Resource Development program at Keio University, Japan. He has also worked as a Research Assistant and Consultancy Service Assistant at IICT, BUET, contributing to projects on inclusive education and digital transformation. Turab brings strong expertise in academic administration, digital accessibility, and data systems. He is proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Adobe tools, and has been actively involved in organizing national and international academic events. He serves as an Executive Committee Member (Ad hoc) of the BUET IICT Alumni Association and is affiliated with the American Chemical Society and the BUET IICT Student Forum. Outside of his professional commitments, Turab is passionate about education technology, community development, and cross-cultural collaboration. He is also an enthusiastic member of the DiversAsia initiative, advocating for diversity and inclusion in higher education. Currently, his focus is on leveraging technology to streamline academic administration and enhance student services. He aims to contribute further to policy innovation and global collaborations in the education sector.
