Dr Moshfique Uddin, Professor of Finance at Leeds University Business School, UK, visited Uttara University on 19 September 2025. The School of Business, in collaboration with the Office of External Affairs, Uttara University, organised a session titled “Research Career in Business and Finance” for the faculty.

The Honourable Vice-Chancellor of Uttara University, Professor Dr Eaysmin Ara Lekha, warmly welcomed Professor Dr Moshfique Uddin and thanked him for his kind participation in the session. The program commenced with a welcome address by Dr Ishrat Hossain, Dean of the School of Business, who introduced Professor Dr Moshfique Uddin to the attending faculty members. Professor Dr Moshfique discussed essential research techniques, shared practical insights on publishing in high-quality journals, and highlighted current research trends. The session was highly engaging, and the faculty members greatly benefited from the interaction.

The program concluded with an expression of gratitude for Professor Dr Moshfique’s inspiring presentation and with an outline of potential future collaboration.
