The Department of Textile Engineering, Uttara University, successfully organized Texplore 1.0, a Project & Poster Exhibition and Quiz Competition, on Thursday, 5 February 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Multipurpose Hall, Uttara University. The event aimed to create a vibrant academic platform for students to showcase their innovative projects, research ideas, and technical expertise in the field of textile engineering.

The program was honored by the presence of Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Eaysmin Ara Lekha, Vice-Chancellor of Uttara University, and Chief Judge Prof. Dr. Hosne Ara Begum, Professor, Department of Yarn Engineering, Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX). Their valuable insights and encouragement greatly inspired the participating students.

The event was further enriched by the presence of distinguished Special Guests, including Prof. Haspia Bashirullah, Treasurer, Uttara University; Prof. Dr. Md. Sultanul Islam, Dean, School of Civil, Environmental & Industrial Engineering; Prof. Abu Bakar Siddiquee, Advisor, Department of Textile Engineering; and Prof. Farruque Mohammad Masud, Chairman (In-Charge), Department of Fashion Design and Technology, Uttara University.

Texplore 1.0 was chaired by Dr. Syed Rashedul Islam, Associate Professor and Chairman, Department of Textile Engineering, Uttara University, whose leadership played a key role in the successful execution of the program.
