The Department of Civil Engineering, Uttara University, successfully organized the Orientation Program for the 39th Batch (Day & Evening) on 29–30 January 2026, marking the beginning of an exciting academic journey for the newly admitted students.

The program was attended by Professor Dr. Md. Sultanul Islam, Dean, School of Civil, Environmental & Industrial Engineering; Md. Ashraful Alam, Acting Chairman, Department of Civil Engineering; along with all respected faculty members of the department. The presence and guidance of the academic leadership ensured a warm and inspiring welcome for the freshers.

During the orientation, students were introduced to the department’s academic framework, university facilities, and expectations, helping them smoothly transition into university life. Faculty members shared valuable insights and encouragement, motivating the students to pursue academic excellence and professional growth.
