Uttara University successfully hosted “UU Business Launchpad 2025”, a two-day entrepreneurship festival designed to spark fresh ideas, develop practical skills and strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit among students. Organized by The Office of External Affairs, in association with SME Foundation Bangladesh, the event brought together aspiring entrepreneurs, industry leaders and academic professionals to foster innovation and business development within the university community.

UU Business Launchpad 2025 was held on 27–28 November 2025 at the open space on the 1st floor of Uttara University, located between the Library and the Indoor Game Room. The festival features a variety of engaging activities, including entrepreneurial showcases, interactive discussions, and mentorship opportunities, all designed to empower participants with the knowledge and confidence to pursue their business ambitions.

The festival began with the Opening Gala on Thursday, 27 November 2025, at 11:00 AM. The ceremony was graced by Rubel Aziz, Managing Director of Partex Beverage Ltd and Vice Chairman of The City Bank PLC, who attended the event as the Chief Guest. His presence and insights greatly inspired the young innovators in attendance. The event also welcomed several distinguished guests. Prof. Dr Eaysmin Ara Lekha, Vice Chancellor of Uttara University, and Dr Mohammad Naveed Ahmed, Managing Director of Miyako Appliance Bangladesh, attended as Special Guests, offering valuable perspectives on leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Prof Dr Eaysmin Ara Lekha said, “At Uttara University, we believe in empowering our students with the skills, vision and confidence to transform their ideas into successful ventures. UU Business Launchpad 2025 has proven that our young minds are ready to innovate, lead and make a difference in the world of business.”

High officials of Uttara University were also present during the inaugural speech. Their participation demonstrated strong institutional support for nurturing entrepreneurial talent. Deans and Chairpersons from various Schools and Departments of Uttara University were also present, encouraging students from all disciplines to take part.
