Students of the 32nd (Evening) and 35th (Day) Batches from the Department of Civil Engineering, Uttara University, conducted an industrial visit to Metrocem Cement II at West Muktarpur, Munshiganj, on Saturday, 8 November 2025.

The visit offered students a comprehensive understanding of cement manufacturing processes, including raw material handling, production techniques, and quality control measures. They also gained practical insights into how cement products are tested, verified, and utilized in modern construction.Uttara University expresses sincere appreciation to Metrocem Cement Ltd. for their warm hospitality and for organizing such an informative and engaging session for our students.
