Driving Academic Excellence through Collaboration: Uttara University’s Co-Organization of ICETCS 2025 & ITSS-IoE 2025 under MoU with RiTECHS

Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Research Innovation Technology Solutions (RiTECHS) and Uttara University, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Uttara University, has successfully co-organized two prestigious international conferences — the International Conference on Emerging Trends in Cybersecurity (ICETCS 2025) and the International Conference on Intelligent Technology, Systems and Services for the Internet of Everything (ITSS-IoE 2025).

These conferences were held at Science Park, Wolverhampton, United Kingdom, on October 27–28, 2025, and were published by Springer (Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering – LNEE), indexed in Scopus.

The Department of CSE, Uttara University, achieved a remarkable milestone with 13 research papers accepted and presented under its organizing account. All participating authors successfully completed their conference presentations through insightful and interactive question-answer sessions, showcasing the depth and diversity of research emerging from the department.

A distinguished recognition was bestowed upon Rezwanul Haque, Lecturer, Department of CSE, Uttara University, who received the Best Technical Paper Award for his paper titled:
“ACB-TriNet: Asymmetric Convolutions and Triplet Attention for Effective Malware Classification.”

Collaborative Research and Global Academic Engagement

Throughout this collaboration, Uttara University has strengthened its international research network by engaging in joint publications and academic exchange with several reputed national and international universities. Institutions participated from Bangladesh include North South University, BRAC University, Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU), and the National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research (NITER).
International collaborators span across Asia, Europe, and North America, including Chonnam National University (Gwangju, South Korea), Marquette University (Milwaukee, United States), Colorado State University (Colorado, United States), Stanton University (Anaheim, United States), and Westcliff University (Irvine, United States).

The Department of CSE of Uttara University continues to emphasize student–faculty collaborative research, nurturing technical expertise and global scholarly participation. This initiative has significantly contributed to the university’s academic excellence and visibility in the global research community, aligning with its mission to drive innovation and scientific advancement.
