On October 8, 2025, the Office of External Affairs, in association with Enhance English and supported by the Department of English, organized a Master Class in the Conference Room of Uttara University.

Enhance English, a British Council–certified organization, works to improve learners’ English proficiency. The session was conducted by Mr. Arko Deb Basu, Senior Instructor at Enhance English.

The program began with an introductory speech by Mr. Fahim Ahmed Faisal, Lecturer and Coordinator, Department of English. The class aimed to enhance students’ understanding of English proficiency and provide practical guidance on achieving higher scores in the IELTS examination.

Mr. Mohammad Ali, Acting Registrar and In-Charge, Office of External Affairs, graced the event as the Chief Guest. In his speech, he emphasized that Uttara University is always committed to enhancing the skills of its students and preparing them for global opportunities. As part of this vision, the university focuses on quality language education and the improvement of English and other foreign languages.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks from Mr. Anichur Rahman, Deputy Director, Office of External Affairs. The session was highly informative and proved beneficial for the participating students.
