On 19 August 2025, the Department of Law, Uttara University organized a workshop on Mooting Techniques & Mock Trials, hosted by the Uttara University Moot Court Society and the Law Society. Held at the Multipurpose Hall, the session offered students practical exposure to courtroom practices and advocacy skills, preparing them for real-world legal challenges.

The workshop featured interactive mock trial exercises where students practiced legal arguments, case presentation, and trial procedures, helping them build confidence for future competitions and professional careers.

Distinguished guests included Professor Dr. Syeda Afroza Zerin, Dean, School of Arts and Social Sciences (SoASS); Dr. Mafruza Sultana, Assistant Professor and Chairman, Department of Law; and Jayasri Samaddar, Associate Professor, Department of Law, along with other respected faculty members. Their valuable insights and guidance enriched the learning experience for students.
