The Mental Health Unit of Uttara University, in collaboration with the Department of Business Administration, organized a Stress Relief Workshop on 16 July 2025, offering BBA students a timely opportunity to pause and prioritize their emotional well-being. The session was facilitated by Abu Zahid Hasan Neel, Clinical Psychologist and Consultant at Uttara University.
Designed to support students in managing academic and personal stress, the interactive workshop focused on healthy coping strategies, emotional resilience, and the importance of self-care in student life. Through guided techniques and open discussion, students explored the impact of stress on mental health and learned practical tools for building inner strength.
Mr. Neel engaged participants in evidence-based practices aimed at reducing stress and promoting mental clarity, while also creating a safe space for students to reflect on their experiences and challenges.

Students responded positively to the initiative, expressing that the session helped them gain valuable insights and practical approaches to maintain balance in their academic journey.
This initiative reflects the Mental Health Unit’s ongoing efforts to promote psychological wellness across campus. With more sessions in the pipeline, Uttara University continues to emphasize mental health as a core pillar of holistic education.
