This is to inform all concerned that a special cultural and commemorative event titled “July Women’s Day: special Drone Show portraying 16 years of Awami Dictatorship and July Uprising” will be held today (Monday) 14 July 2025 (Monday) at 6:00 PM at the Central Shaheed Minar, Dhaka organized by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, managed by Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in coordination with Ministry of Women and Children Affairs and University of Dhaka.
On behalf of Uttara University, participation in this event of this university will be coordinated by the Office of Students Affairs (OSA). The event will highlight 16 years of dictatorship, the July resistance movement, and will include programs such as a special drone show, documentary screening, musical performances, and a midnight tribute led by the “Daughters of July.”
Teachers and students of this university, especially female teachers and students, are highly encouraged to participate in the event. In this regard, a bus will depart from Uttara University campus at 4:00 PM sharp, and the program is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM.
All Deans, Associate Deans, Chairpersons, Academic Directors, Program Coordinators, and concerned officials are requested to encourage and accompany interested female teachers and students to participate in this significant event.
