I am very happy to learn that Uttara University is going to hold its 6th Convocation in a befitting manner. On this joyful occasion, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the graduating students, erudite faculty of different departments and all concerned of Uttara University.

Education is called the backbone of a nation which plays an important role in building a knowledge-based society. It also empowers the people and helps to attain equitable and just society. There is no alternative to education for building an esteemed nation and achieving sustainable development. Keeping that in mind, the Government has attached topnotch priority to ameliorate the socio-economic condition of the country by putting emphasis on education. I hope that universities, both private and public, will play seminal role in imparting quality education as well as disseminating and acquiring knowledge. Educational excellence is bound up with research and innovation. I hope that Uttara University would provide state-of-the-art educa tion along with moral values to its students for the sake of the nation.

Imbued with the spirit of patriotism and war of liberation, I hope that the graduating students of Uttara University will serve the nation with utmost dedication. I once again, congratulate the graduating students on their brilliant accomplishment and wish them a very bright future.

I am happy to learn that Uttara University is going to hold its 6th convocation on 30 October 2018 in Dhaka. On this occasion, I would like to congratulate the graduating students, their parents, faculty members and the university authority.

Our government has relentlessly been working to turn Bangladesh into a middle income country by 2021 and a developed one by 2041. In this regard, we have attached top priority to education sector. A time-befit ting and scientific 'National Education Policy' has been enacted to ensure quality education. We adopted 'Private University Act 2010' to boost up higher education facilities. The government established new schools, colleges arid universities across the country. The opportunities for higher education and research have been increased in the country. Bangabandhu Fellowship on Science and ICT Project is being imple mented to conduct research activities and create scientists, technicians and researchers.

I hope that the graduating students of Uttara University will play an important role in building a Sonar Ban gladesh as dreamt by the greatest Bangalee of all time, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

I wish the 6th convocation of Uttara University a complete success.

I am delighted to be informed that Uttara University is holding its 6th convocation on 30 October 2018. I would like to extend heartiest congratulations and felicitations to all the graduating students, their proud parents, the faculty members and the university administration from the core of my heart.

The Government is devoted to enhancing the quality of education from primary to tertiary level with a view to making a knowledge-based society. Universities, as centres of excellence, have ample role to play in creat ing human resources as well as fostering socio-economic development of the country. I believe this institution will continue the process of creating bright students who will contribute to the nation.
